Responsibilities
- Monitors kitchen operations and cleanliness
- Contribute to menu planning and costing
- Collaborate on the development of daily and seasonal specials
- Assist in monthly inventory counts
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Estimate needed supplies and fill orders accordingly
- Quality check and confirm all deliveries
- Oversee all food preparation
- Manage portion control, food waste, and inventory
- Ensure all ingredients and tools are prepared for use
- Coordinate workflow and staff schedules
- Uphold safety, sanitation, and maintenance procedures with kitchen equipment
- Assist in training culinary team
- Prepare and cook menu items
Experience
- Several years of experience in professional kitchens
