- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, delegate tasks, and respond to last-minute changes.
- Knowledge of banquet-style service and event flow.
- Comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bonus: Experience with weddings, corporate events, or luxury venues.
Responsibilities
- Act as venue liaison for clients and vendors on event day.
- Communicate logistics including timelines, floorplans, staffing, rentals, and vendor communications.
- Lead the banquet team in setup, service, and teardown of events.
- Provide clear direction to serving staff, ensuring all service standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues calmly and efficiently during live events.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, presentation, and guest service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee inventory and readiness of event supplies and ServiceWare.
